1. General terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website greenbridgeca.com (the "Site"), operated by GreenBridge ("GreenBridge", "we", "us" or "our"), an independent solar advisory service based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. By accessing the Site, browsing its content, or submitting any form, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site.

2. Definitions

• "Site" means the website located at greenbridgeca.com and all of its pages and content.
• "Service Provider" means GreenBridge.
• "User", "you" means any person who accesses or uses the Site.
• "Services" means the advisory offerings made available through the Site, including free property assessments, regional sunlight and savings estimates, guidance on rebate programs, comparisons of financing options, and the matching of households with certified installers.
• "Installer Network" means the vetted, accredited third-party contractors with whom GreenBridge works.

3. Scope of services

GreenBridge provides independent information and advisory services to help Canadian homeowners decide whether rooftop solar is suitable for their property. Through the Site you can read educational content about solar energy, use an interactive savings estimator, learn about federal and provincial incentive programs, and submit a request for a free, no-obligation estimate. Where you ask us to, we will match your request with one or more members of our Installer Network so that you can compare quotes fairly.

GreenBridge does not sell, install, finance, or maintain solar equipment. We do not provide engineering, legal, tax, or financial advice. Any estimates, figures, or program descriptions on the Site are illustrative and provided for general informational purposes only. The Site does not offer online payment, user accounts, or contractual booking of installation services; final agreements are made directly between you and an installer.

4. User obligations

By using the Site, you agree that you will:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when completing any form, so that we can prepare a meaningful estimate;
• Use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of, the Site by any third party;
• Refrain from any malicious activity, including spamming, attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malware, or scraping content through automated means;
• Comply with all applicable laws of Canada and your province;
• Be at least 18 years of age, or use the Site with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

5. Intellectual property

The Site may contain links to or rely on third-party resources, such as Google Fonts or rebate program websites operated by government bodies. GreenBridge does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of these external sites. Accessing third-party resources is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

9. Force majeure

GreenBridge shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, fire, war, civil unrest, pandemics, power outages, telecommunications failures, or technical malfunctions affecting the Site or its hosting infrastructure.
